International Theatre Day in Hartenberg

On the 19th of August the participants of the festival in the Czech castle of Hartenberg will celebrate the International Theatre Day. Five performances prepared by theatre companies from different countries will take place on this day one after another.

“This is a rare opportunity to see performances created by representatives of different theatre schools and cultures in one place and at the same time. So it will be the true international day of theatre for us and the spectators”, noted the coordinator of the international theatre festival and workshop “Hartenberg” DmitroTernovyi.

The following performances will take place on the 19th of August: “Hermit and Sixfinge” by the theatre school of the Saint Petersburg University (Russia), “Splashes” by Eleffant Foot Company from USA, the musical performance “The Georgian Evening” by the group “Elva” from Georgia, the fairy-tale “The story told by a little spirit, who lives in a castle behind a hearth” by the “Theatre Na Zhukah” from Ukraine.

The theatre day in Hartenberg will be closed by the joint performance “Medieval Dream” that was created by all the participants of the forum during the festival.
